MIRI GA® is a tabletop device that is designed to perform easy and continuous external gas and temperature validation of IVF incubators. This device can be used to validate different varieties of Esco Medical IVF incubators such as MIRI® Time-lapse Incubator, MIRI® Multiroom Incubator, Mini MIRI® Incubators, and other brands of IVF incubators.
The MIRI® GA is made portable for gas analysis and temperature measurement. With its space-saving design, it just weighs around 15kgs which makes it easy to install as an accessory device for incubators.
This device uses a PT1000 sensor for temperature monitoring and at the same time, capable of gas concentration monitoring through gas sampling ports.

The major advantage of using MIRI® incubators is that this feature is specifically exclusive for MIRI® incubators. Having a setup of MIRI® GA + MIRI® incubators gives a closed system wherein gas leaked out or wastage can be prevented. However, if the incubator is not a MIRI® incubator, this feature can be used to direct gas to an exhaust if desired.
MIRI® GA comes with a data logging system that could help embryologists to monitor and record each parameter and optionally send email alarms. This software runs a Windows PC (Vista and above), it is not required to install in the MIRI® GA but this feature is very useful for the end-users.
MIRI® GA can do both temperature measurement and gas concentration analysis concurrently. In using conventional hand-held validating devices, the embryologist may need two separate devices for measuring the temperature and gas concentration.
MIRI® GA measures gas and temperature simultaneously 24 hours a day while in conventional devices, measurements are done in a regular interval.
The gas suction rate is gentle, at the same time, adjustable. It is claimed to be at 3L/h while conventional devices can consume up to 12L/h gas suction rate.
Data logging software is one of the major advantages you can have in this MIRI® GA. Aside from the data logger itself, it comes with an adjustable alarm threshold which you can’t find in any conventional devices.
Last but not the least, its ability to monitor up to 6 incubation chambers at the same time. In conventional devices, it can only validate one unit at a time.
